Business Unit Technology

With the acquisition of a majority interest in the Klöckner-Werke AG in 2007, the Salzgitter Group laid the foundation for its globally operating Technology Business Unit. This company has developed in the course of its hundred-year history from a steel group to a modern engineering business. Today it is under the name Salzgitter Klöckner-Werke GmbH an interim holding of the Salzgitter Group. In recent years the new business unit has been systematically developed and expanded with a focus on the construction of special-purpose machinery including filling and packaging plant, plastics processing and shoe-making machines.
